If you have received a message similar to the ones displayed below when trying to install your product, stating the serial number you are using is invalid, or has been revoked, it is because the serial number you are attempting to use has been blocked by Adobe.

Adobe blocks serial numbers that have not been issued by Adobe, or have been used fraudulently by unauthorized sellers to produce counterfeit software. Unfortunately, you may only know the serial number has been blocked for this reason when re-activating or reinstalling Adobe software.
If your serial number is for a different language than the installation language you select (for example, you purchased a German Creative Suite, but attempt to install it in English), you will get an invalid serial number error. Reinstall the product, choose the correct language, and enter the serial number when prompted.

When you buy software through Adobe Buying Programs, Adobe sends a confirmation email to the person listed on the purchase order. If it's your first time using volume licensing, Adobe also sends a welcome message with sign-in information. You then can access your serial numbers and download your software from the LWS.
All TLP and FLP orders, and any CLP orders placed after 14 October 2009, include a license certificate that includes order information. This information includes the end-user name, Deploy-to ID, purchase order number, order number, and serial number.

OK, once deactivation is complete, you are free to go ahead and enter your serial number key to activate a copy of the software installed elsewhere, or use it to reactivate the same application on that PC after reinstalling (for example, if you are changing disk drives or upgrading operating systems). I was trying to install Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014). The OS for it is OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6 (if this helps). I had read both parts of your comments and I started following your steps. When I got to step 7, the window did not give me the 3 options to Install with a serial number; or, Start my subscription; or, Install a trial. Instead, I had the 2 options to Install with a serial number or Install a trial. Rather than dwell upon it too much, I chose to install it with my serial number. After accepting the license agreement and inputting my serial number, I did not see a Sign In Required window as seen in exhibit 9 like you had. Instead, I had gotten a window like this:
